Pre & Post Care Instructions
SPRAY TANNING
-
Skin Prep
Shower and exfoliate 24 to 48 hours before your appointment using non oil-based products. We recommend our Pre-Tan Exfoliating Gel available in studio, or a loofah, dry brush, or exfoliating mitt.
You may lightly moisturize after exfoliating.
Shave or wax at least 48 hours before your appointment — never the same day.
If you wear a strong antiperspirant deodorant, exfoliate the underarm area thoroughly before your appointment and do not wear it on the day of your tan.
Day of Your Appointment
Arrive with clean, dry skin — free of lotions, deodorant, and perfume.
Wear loose, dark clothing with no tight straps or bands.
We offer disposable undergarments, or you are welcome to tan nude. Please note that any undergarment worn will leave a tan line.
If you are pregnant, please consult your doctor before scheduling.
If nursing, request to wear the disposable bra during application.
Please inform your technician of any allergies or skin sensitivities before your appointment.
Please contact us for a full ingredient list if you have any concerns regarding allergies or skin conditions.

Developing Your Tan
Wait the full development time before showering — 1 to 3 hours for Express Formula, 8 to 12 hours for Original Formula.
Your color will appear darker before your first rinse. This is completely normal — excess bronzer will wash off and will not affect your final result.
Your finished tan continues to develop after your first rinse. Final results typically appear within 24 hours.
Your First Rinse
Use warm — not hot — water for your first shower rinse.
No soap, no products, no scrubbing during your first rinse.
Do not shave during your first warm water rinse.
Pat dry with a towel — never rub.
Maintaining Your Tan
Moisturize twice daily to extend the life of your tan.
Avoid oil-based products, exfoliants, salts, and scrubs while your tan is active — these will break it down faster.
Avoid extended time in pools, hot tubs, or the ocean — chlorine and salt will fade your tan.
Apply sunscreen daily to protect both your skin and your tan.
Stay hydrated and moisturize consistently for the longest-lasting results.
Ask us about our post-tan products available in studio — formulated specifically to extend and nourish your custom tan.
-
Schedule waxing, peels, or any exfoliating treatments at least 48 hours before your tan — never after.
Schedule nail appointments before your tan. If scheduling after, wait until your first warm water rinse is complete and inform your nail technician that you have a fresh airbrush tan.
-
Getting a tan in winter or on a rainy day? Here's how to protect your results:
Wear warm, loose-fitting clothing like sweatpants or a hoodie — nothing tight that could smudge or rub.
Cover up when you leave — gloves, scarves, and a hooded coat will protect your skin from wind, rain, and snow.
Carry an umbrella or wear a hooded jacket — even light precipitation can impact a fresh tan.
Bring slip-on shoes and avoid tight boots or leggings immediately after your appointment.
Avoid hot showers — stick to lukewarm water and a gentle gel body wash.
Moisturize regularly — cold weather dries out skin and causes tans to fade faster.
LASH SERVICES
-
Remove contact lenses before your appointment.
Arrive with clean lashes — free of mascara and eye makeup.
Lash appointments are quiet services. We recommend bringing earbuds or headphones so you can relax with your favorite music or podcast.
Avoid caffeine before a lash lift if you are sensitive — it can cause eye fluttering during the service.
-
Avoid getting lashes wet for 24 hours after your service.
Do not rub or touch your lashes immediately after your appointment.
Avoid steam, saunas, and swimming for the first 24 to 48 hours.
Results from a lash lift typically last six to eight weeks.
To maintain your results, apply a lash conditioning serum regularly.
WAXING
-
Hair must be at least a quarter inch in length — approximately 10 to 14 days of growth.
Exfoliate the area 48 hours before your appointment.
You are welcome to take a painkiller in the hour before your session.
For bikini and Brazilian services, wear soft cotton underwear and loose-fitting bottoms — avoid tight pants or jeans.
Avoid scheduling waxing after a spray tan — always wax before tanning.
-
Avoid heat for 24 hours after waxing — this includes hot showers, saunas, and steam.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 24 to 48 hours post wax.
Do not exfoliate the waxed area for at least 48 hours.
Moisturize the area daily to keep skin smooth and reduce ingrown hairs.
Begin gentle exfoliation of the waxed area after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.
BROWS
-
Arrive with your natural brows — avoid filling them in so we can assess your natural shape.
Avoid retinol or exfoliating skincare products on the brow area for 48 hours before your appointment.
If you have had any facial treatments, peels, or laser procedures recently, please let us know before booking.
-
Avoid getting brows wet for 24 hours after lamination or tinting.
Do not apply makeup, skincare, or oils directly to the brow area for 24 hours.
Avoid steam, saunas, and swimming for 24 to 48 hours after lamination.
Brow lamination results typically last four to six weeks — apply a nourishing brow serum regularly to maintain results.
Avoid retinol or exfoliating products on the brow area between appointments.
